Baseball Cap Crochet Pattern
A cute hat crochet pattern for your Blythe dolls to wear this spring
I’m back with another crochet pattern for you all! This is a simple yet cute baseball cap hat pattern that you can make for your dolls to wear this spring or anytime of the year. I was inspired to make this hat after I thought one of my dolls’ outfits needed a baseball-style hat but I didn’t have one so I decided to crochet my own! I added a smiley face in the center of the hat to make it look lively and fun. I ended up crocheting a second hat but added a heart instead. Both patterns for the smiley face and heart are also included in this crochet pattern.
The brim for the baseball cap is more of a square, rounded brim because that was the style of hat brim I was aiming for. You can always make alterations to this pattern to make more of a rounded hat brim if you prefer that look.
Orginally, I had made this hat without a hole/cut-out at the back of the baseball cap but then I thought it would be cute to see a crochet baseball-style hat with a cut-out in the back of the hat like regular baseball caps have so I included a way on how you can work that into this crochet pattern. However, feel free to skip that row in the pattern if you don’t want a hole in your hat.
If you choose to become a paid subscriber, you’ll get access to this and all of my crochet patterns, plus 1-2 new crochet patterns a month (and maybe more!), designed to fit Blythe dolls. Creating patterns takes a lot of planning and effort, which is why I’m putting a paywall on the crochet patterns on this Substack. I hope you understand.
I also provide many free crochet patterns on my main blog. I also have some crochet pattern videos available on my YouTube channel.
