I saw some spoiler images of “Dolly Days: Sleepover” earlier this week on Blythestagram, which made me think that we would be getting the final reveal of this doll this week. I also saw a doll creator post yet another AI image of “Dolly Days: Sleepover”, a few days after the illustration was released. Smh. The AI version looked so boring and muted, and thankfully, nothing like what the real “Dolly Days: Sleepover” Blythe looked like!
The photographs they chose to promote this girl were interesting. I get she’s meant to be sleeping, but why make the photos so dark? I don’t think they do this girl any favors. It seems like a strange decision. They should’ve just left the one where she’s sleeping dark if they wanted to stay with the sleepover theme. But I did enjoy seeing a little bedroom set to display “Dolly Days: Sleepover”. The picture of her with the sleeping mask on is adorable!

My thoughts
I was pretty surprised by how bright the sleeping gown came out! I didn’t expect the colors on the dress to be as bold as they came out. I don’t know how anyone is meant to sleep with such a vibrant sleeping gown on! I’m not sure if I love it or not. I personally love color, but part of me also thinks the pattern and the size of the pink ribbon look a bit too cartoony. I don’t know if I hate it or love it. I do think the style of the dress is cute. I love the look of a sleeping gown!
The sleepover accessories are probably my favorite part! I crocheted a polar bear dress and hat for my Lavendula Babe back when I unboxed her, and I just know that my Lavender would be a huge fan of these stock accessories! Those fuzzy slippers are sooooo adorable!
Her hair and makeup are pretty basic and natural. She reminds me a lot of my ADG doll, Winter. In fact, I may have been inspired by their similarity to create something… Make sure you are following me on my Blythestagram and stay tuned for a fun post!
Overall, I think “Dolly Days: Sleepover” is a cute doll. As I mentioned in the teaser post, we don’t get brunettes often in the Blythe world, so if you’re looking for one, “Dolly Days: Sleepover” might be the perfect doll to add to your doll collection!
