Welcome to a new mini series which I’m calling Petit Fours. In this series, I’ll be covering four doll-related bite-sized stories that are either trending or I think deserve some attention in the doll community.
Horror-inspired Blythe Doll Cards
When I saw Jasmine teasing these cards on her Instagram, I knew I needed them. Sleepforever offers Blythe-inspired tarot and Lenormand cards on their Etsy shop. They even offer doll-sized card decks for your Blythe dolls! Sleepforever recently released this 13-card bonus pack for their Lenormand deck. The cards featured Blythe dolls dressed in outfits inspired by popular spooky films.
As a lover of all things spooky, I’m obsessed with these cards! If you didn’t know, I read tarot and Lenormand cards and draw tarot cards daily! I also review the decks I’ve used. You can see all my deck reviews here.
BRATZIEZ SWEETHEARTZ Blind Boxes
Bratz has dropped the first images of their newest BRATZIEZ blind boxes collection, BRATZIEZ Sweetheartz! The new bag charmz collection includes four new BRATZ color variations, which include new makeup with glitter! Bunny Boo (Sasha) is dressed in a hot pink bunny cozy, Pretty Princess (Yasmine) is as regal as ever in a lavender-colored frog kigurumi, Angel (Cloe) wears a fluffy white piggy onezie, and Kool Kat (Jade) is wearing the sassiest red fuzzy cat suit paired with smudge sparkly eyeliner!

Samantha: The Next Chapter
The American Girl Brand announced on Tuesday that they'll be releasing their first-ever adult novel Samantha: The Next Chapter, written by Fiona Davis, in honor of American Girl’s 40th anniversary!
Fiona Davis is a New York Times bestselling author who has written several historical fiction novels set in New York City, including The Stolen Queen, The Magnolia Palace, The Spectacular, The Address, and The Lions of Fifth Avenue. Her novels and articles have appeared in publications like The Wall Street Journal and Oprah magazine. Her books have been translated into over twenty languages.
The American Girl Legacy novel is targeted towards fans of the original historical doll, Samantha Parkington, one of the brand’s most iconic dolls. The historical-fiction novel is set in 1920 and will follow a 25-year-old Samantha in New York as she tries to educate and motivate women to vote in their first presidential election!

This is such a fascinating concept! I wonder if they’ll release an adult book for each of the historical American Girls? It’s funny because one of my bookish goals this year was to read the historical American Girl books, but I might have to add this to my tbr list as well!
Neo Blythe International Beauty Contest
The Blythe Beauty Contest has returned! The Beauty Contest is a wonderful opportunity for Blythe doll creators to showcase their artistic skills to create a one-of-a-kind Blythe doll! Plus, Junko Wong will also be one of the judges!
Participants are required to use an authentic Good Smile Company Blythe doll and must be at least 16 year-old to enter the competition. You may enter as a team(2-3 members per team), but you will only be awarded one prize. The contest will run from March 1st to March 31st, 2026. There will be a plethora of awards and prizes, but only 5 winners! The first prize place is an Artisanal glass trophy, the 25th Anniversary Neo Blythe doll, and a full-page cover feature in the 4th Blythe Collection Guide Book! Junko will also have her choice of selecting a doll entered in the Beauty Contest to be produced and manufactured by the Good Smile Company. The doll will become an official Neo Blythe Doll!
This hasn’t been the first time these contests have become available to the public. Gentle River (2006), Precocious Candys Mushroom (2007), and Le Jardin de Maman (2008) were all winners from previous Blythe Beauty Contests!
