The images from first doll in the "Dolly Days" collection has arrived!
It’s been a minute since I posted on Substack. I’ve been busy this summer but don’t fret as I have some fun posts planned, and with it nearing the end of the month, we can expect some new Blythe teases coming up in the next few days!
Last night, I’ll be Junko Wong released the first photos of the first doll in the Dolly Days series, “Dolly Days - Weekend”.
My weekdays are full of tasks that keep me busy, but my weekends are a sweet escape filled with activities I truly enjoy.
It’s the weekends I always look forward to!

My thoughts
She’s cute. I’m a sucker for gingham and, unlike “Creamy Cherry Sweetheart,” I think the doll complements this gingham pattern beautifully! Her blonde her came out more golden than the illustrations, she reminds me a lot of “Donna Doughnut” but with different eyes and makeup.
Her blue gingham box reminds me a lot of the old-school Blythe doll boxes. I love the cool pink color and blue gingham combination. I love the oversized pink bow hair accessory. Because she’s a budget doll, I’m not surprised by her default eye colors, and lack of nail polish and piercings.
For me, she’s a pass because I find her pretty basic in terms of the Blythe doll world. With that said, she’s cute and can’t wait to see everyone unbox and style her!
