If you’ve been following my Blythestagram, then you know that I sometimes post miniatures. Because Blythe dolls are small, they need some tiny things to use as props in photos. It’s been fun trying to find small furniture and miniature items for my dolls. I would love to make a little room for them to display them and take photos with. I may have something in store soon! hehe
In some of my shorts, I featured a mini pink oven that I saved from my Lalaloopsy dolls. It comes in handy for cooking or baking photos, and when I want to “bake“ and transform any of the miniature foods.
The miniature cupcakes (shown above) actually fell when I was waiting for them to set but it messed up the frosting so I had to wipe it off and start all over again! lol
If I’m being honest, the Miniverse Make It Minis are kind of annoying to make because it takes a long time for the resin in these sets and dry. The resin acts like a glue in many of the minis, and they are also used as frosting, icing, and sauces on food items. I may have to pivot and start buying the Mini Brands, as that’s another brand of miniature capsule toys but they include mini items that require no set-up and are mess-free!

Late last year, I started posting unboxings of the Miniverse Make It Minis. I went on a hunt to find all the Target bags, which I have now collected! I know, we’re not supposed to talk about Target anymore but to be fair this all happened before the news of Target so yeah…
For Valentine’s Day, I threw a little Galentine’s Day celebration for my dolls. I included all the mini food I had collected and also made my dolls little V-Day cards out of scrap pieces of construction paper and hearts with a heart-shaped hole puncher. I thought their party was a success! haha
In my most recent Doll Diaries, I decorated a mini laptop, phone, and iPad that I got from Aliexpress. I bought these miniature electronics for my Blythe dolls to model with in photos but also to promote this Substack as I can change the image on the screens. I thought this was a cute idea, and I can’t wait to style these accessories in photos!

As you can see in the same video, I also acquired a new petite Blythe! She’s a factory Blythe, but I’ve been having a lot of fun playing around with customizing her. I’m still not sure how she fits into my Blythe world yet, but she will be the subject of one of my posts coming soon! So, make sure you’re subscribed to my newsletter to be notified when that post goes live!
